I hope this message finds you healthy and well! April is fast upon us and Louisville is literally blossoming with TONS to do as the Derby Festival approaches. April 10th – “Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science” Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, Ages: All ages Price: Tickets start at $30.00Fans can expect more comedy, talk show antics, multimedia presentations and music (yes, he sings), but Brown is adding a slew of fresh ingredients including new puppets, songs and bigger and potentially more dangerous experiments.

April 12th- Living Colour at The Mercury Ballroom- 8:00. Tickets from $22

Living Colour is an American rock band from New York City, formed in 1984. Stylistically, the band’s music is a creative fusion influenced by heavy metal, punk rock, funk, jazz, hip hop and alternative rock. Their lyrics range from personal to political. Living Colour rose to fame with their debut album Vivid in 1988. Although the band scored a number of hits, they are best remembered for their signature songCult of Personality“, which won a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance in 1990.

April 14th – Old Crow Medicine Show at the Louisville Palace. 7:30pm .

1. Set up outdoor furniture. Give everything a good cleaning, and go shopping for new pieces as needed.

2.Tune up lawn mower and gas grill. Make sure all of your outdoor equipment is in working order.

3. Clean siding. Wash the exterior of your house to remove road salt and grime that has accumulated over the winter ___________________________________________________
